DEATH OF MRS. THOMAS FLINT
Mrs. Thomas B. Flint, of Everly, Iowa, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Roberts, in this city on Tuesday, March 13, 1907 of cancer of the stomach after a lingering illness, at the age of 47 years, 10 months and 5 days.
Miss Nellie E. Roberts was born in the town of Dodgeville, May 8, 1848, where she resided until about 1880 when she was united in marriage to Thomas H. Flint. Several years ago they moved to Hartley, Iowa, where thy lived about a year, after which they moved to their farm in Dickinson county. Later they went to Spencer to reside and about a year ago, they returned to the farm. Some weeks ago she came to this city to assist in caring for her parents who are quite feeble, and while here, she gradually became weaker until death relieved her of her sufferings at the time above stated.
She leaves to mourn her untimely death her husband, five children, Mrs. Jennie Cummings, Mrs. Estella Fox, Nellie, George and Clyde, all of Everly, Iowa; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Roberts of this city, one brother, Wm. C. Roberts of Darlington; one sister, Mr.s E. Hughes of Plankington, South Dakota; besides other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home of her parents in this city at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. W.F. Tomlinsen, after which the remains will be taken to Hartley, Iowa for burail -- Dodgeville, Wisc. Chronicle.
The funeral was conduced from the M.E. church at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, the services being in charg of Rev. W.M. Ayers.
The family have the sympathy of all in the loss of a loving wife and mother.
