Funeral services for Anna L. Wester were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 1991, at Siloam Lutheran Church in Paullina, Iowa, with Rev. R.S. Roesler officiating. The pallbearers were Dale Wester, Jim Wester, Art Kimblad, Vernon Wester, Dan Wester and Glen Beratson. The final resting place is Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina, IA, under the care of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home.

OBITUARY

Anna Linea Wester, the daughter of Carl and Maria Andersson Johnson, was born December 28,1895, in Stralsnas, Sweden. She received her education in Sweden before coming to the United States and the Paullina area at the age of 17. She settled with her brother east of Paullina.

On September 9, 1920, she was united in marriage to Ernest M. Wester in Chicago, Illinois. After their marriage they farmed in the Paullina area until Ernest's death on December 14, 1951, in Paullina. Anna remained on the farm until moving into Paullina a couple of years later. She remained in Paullina until entering the Sunrise Manor in Sioux City.

She passed away at the manor on Sunday, September 29, 1991, reaching the age of 95 years, 9 months and 1 day. She was a member of the Siloam Lutheran Church in Paullina.

Anna leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Bilunas of Sioux City; two grandsons, Donald and his wife JoAnn Bilunas of St. Paul, MN and Michael Bilunas of Sioux City; two great grandchildren, Jennifer and Matthew Bilunas; one sister, Mrs. Ingeborg Sundgren of Boxholm, Sweden; also a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, seven brothers, three sisters and a son-in-law, Anthony Bilunas.
