Mrs. Rieck, Former Calumet and Gaza Resident, Dies

Mrs. Marth Rieck, 78, at one time a resident of both the Calumet and Gaza communities, died last Thursday at Hartley. Funeral services were held Monday at the Trinity United Church of Christ of Hartley, the Rev. R. G. Beck officiating. Burial was in the Hartley cemetery. Baumgarten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Reick is survived by seven children: Ernst of Chicago; Harry of Ocheyedan; Gertrude (Mrs. Gordan Jensen) of Sioux Falls; Viola of Primghar; Alvin of Hartley; Alvina (Mrs. Wilbert Fredericks) of Hartley; and Ida (Mrs. Donald Tesch) of Spencer. Also one sister, Erna Wetzel and two brothers, Otto and Hans Sass, and other relatives.
