ELDORA ZELMA BARRY

Saturday, July 9, 1994 services were held for Eldora Zelma Barry at Spencer. Officiating was Pastor Harlan Betz.

Mrs. Barry, 75, passed away at the hospital in Spencer on July 7, 1994. Interment was at Waterman Cemetery in Sutherland.

OBITUARY

Eldora Zelma Barry, the daughter of Karl and Betty Zelma Truelson Raymond, was born May 26, 1919 at Fort Dodge. She attended school at Holdredge, NE.
She was united in marriage to Don A. Barry in Orange City in 1944. They made their home at Sutherland until moving to Spencer in 1972. She had worked as a cafe operator and as a nurse aid for 55 years. She was a very good mother to her family and a very good wife. She never complained, she was a "Peace Maker."

Preceding her in death were her parents; one grandson, Travis Ebel; two brothers, Harold and Harry; and two sisters, Edith Linneman and Margaret Farquhar.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Don; four daughters: Patricia of Spencer, Dorothy and her husband Rich Pierret of Maple Grove, MN and Kathi Sweet and Yvonne, both of Spencer; one son and his wife, Don C. and Paulette of Clever, MO; ten grandchildren: Teresa, Brenda, Marcia, Lisa, Matthew, Dominic, April, Tammie, Amanda and Mitchell; five greatgrandchildren: Nicole, Ashley, Rachel, Kyle and Danielle; two sisters, Marie Miller of Spencer and May and her husband Roger Barry of Sutherland; as well as other relatives and many friends.
