Mrs. Paul Rabe 78 Dies at Cherokee

Mrs. Paul O. Rabe, 73, of Cherokee died March 6 at the Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital following a 10 day illness. Funeral services were held Monday, March 8, at the Oakdale Evangelical Free Church south of Paullina with Rev Earl Gunsolley officiating.

Ida Muckler Rabe was born October 3, 1890, at Grinnell, Iowa. She was married to Paul Rabe on February 16, 1918. She was a former Paullina resident.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vernon Lundell of Cherokee and Mrs. Clifford Nelson of Denver, Colo., two sons, Paul and Clarence, both of Paullina, eight grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Oliver Olson of Sunburg, Minn., and Mrs. Ernest Carnahan of Sutherland and one brother, William Muckler of Royal.

Burial was in the Paullina Cemetery.
