Virginia Jane Gaudian

Virginia Jane Gaudian, 68, of Cherokee, died Tuesday, June 10, 1997 in the Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital, Cherokee, following a lengthy illness.
Services was held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Funeral Home, Cherokee. Gregg Johnson and Karl Peterson will officiate. Burial was in the Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.

She was born September 8, 1928 in Primghar to Richard and Etta (McClure) Watts. Following her graduation from Paullina High School, she attended Northwestern College in Orange City. She taught school for several years. She also worked as a CNA in the Cherokee Villa for many years. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Cherokee.

She married Elmer Gaudian on September 17, 1977 in Cherokee.

Survivors include her husband; four cousins and her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
