Funeral Services Are Held Tuesday For Ernest Gaudian, 71

Funeral services for Ernest Gaudian were held Tuesday, February 18 at St. John's Lutheran church in Germantown.

Mr. Gaudian passed away on Sunday, February 16 at Paullina at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 13 days. Rev. Charles F. Kramer officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Duame Gaudta, Clarence Hattermann, Burdette Ebel, Wm. Fuller. Wolbert Ebert and Eldred Gaudian. The congregation sang two hymns accompanied by Mrs. Clarence Hibbing as organist. Burial was irv St. John's Lutheran Cemetery at Germantown with Gaudian Funeral Home in change of arrangements.

Ernest Gaudian was born July 3, 1903 near Paullina; the son of Carl and Augusta Karo Gaudian. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. John Lutheran church.

Mr. Gaudian worked on various farms in the area and then worked at the carpenter trade with his brother. He has made his home at the Wide View rest home since December 8, 1968. Mr. Gaudian had never married.

Survivors include one brother, Carl F. Gaudian of Paullina, and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Pauling of Harris and Mrs. Esther Fegebank of Paullina, and numerous nieces and nephews.
