1885 - -EMMA KRUSE - -1966

Emma Kruse, a daughter of Fred and Mary nee Mueller was born January 28, 1885, in Cook County, Illinois. She came to this area as a young girl and roccuved her education at St John's Lutheran School. She later moved to Paullina with her parents in the year 1923. Paullina continued to bo her home until the time of her death on September 26, 1960.

She was very active in the affairs of her church and had been a member of the ladies aid for many years. She attained' the age of 81 years and 8 months.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Riebesell of Calumet, two brothers, Emil and Otto of Paullina and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sept. 30 at Zion Lutheran church, Rev. Paul Sohn officiating with Gaudian Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Prairie View cemetery.
