Funeral Held Monday for Otto Meyer, Lifetime Resident

Otto J. Meyer, a lifelong resident of this community, died Friday at a Sutherland nursing home, at the age of 79. A farmer in the Germantown area much of his lifetime, he also spent many years working with a son, Clarence, in the operation of the Paullina Dairy.

Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon at Gaudian Funeral Home at 1:30 and at Zion Lutheran Church at 2:00. Rev. Paul Sohn was the officiating clergyman, Gaudian Funeral Home was in charge of the service.

The deceased is survived by two sons, Elvert and Clarence, six grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Fred Boesch, Paullina. His wife preceded him in death in 1958. A complete obituary will be published next week.
