SARAH JANE ELDER
Sarah Jane, younges daughter of Peter and Sarah Narber, was born near Dillon, Marshall County, Iowa, February 9, 1862. She was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to William H. Elder on August 32, 1882.
Mr. and Mrs. Elder resided in Marshall county until they moved to O'Brien county. In 1919, they moved to Otis, Colorado.
One year ago the deceased was called upon to part with her husband and now the call has come to her and while hearts of loved ones are pained at her going, yet their loss is her gain. On Friday, May 6, 1921, her spirit took its flight, to await the coming of her loved ones.
Two sons and three daughters survive their mother. They are Lewis Elder, Otis, Colo., Mrs. Maude Sutter, Paullina [Iowa], George Elder, Paullina, Ia.; Mrs. Vasie Young, Otis, Colo., and Miss Marion [sic] Elder, Paullina, Iowa.
Besides the children above mentioned, there remain thre brothers, Simon and Robert Narber of Marshalltown, Ia., Robert Narber of Conrad and two sisters, Amelia Narber of Marshalltwon, Iowa, and Hannah Narber of Conrad, Iowa.
