Alvin Beermann Dies Suddenly At His Home on Monday

Alvin C. Beermann, 47, owner of the Beermann Feed and Grinding business at Germantown, was found dead on Monday morning, September 11. He passed away in his sleep.

Funeral services will be held today, September 14, at St. John Lutheran church at Germantown with Rev. Armin Prowatzke officiating. Time of the service is 10:30. Burial will be in St. John cemetery.

Mr. Beermann was born December 9, 1924 at Iona, Minnesota. He moved to this area in 1929. He has operated the feed business at Germantown since 1957.

He was married to Dorothy Runge on June 26, 1958 at Calumet, and they became the parents of three children.

Survivors include his widow Dorothy, children, Dean, Lori and Terri, all at home, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Beermann of Paullina, one brother, Edward W. Beermann of Paullina, and one sister, Elnora, Mrs. Sig Axdahl of St. Paul, Minnesota.
