Funeral Services Held for Peter D. Moos, 75

Funeral services for Peter D. Moos, 75, of Paullina were held at 10:30 Monday morning, September 11, at the Zion Lutheran church. Mr. Moos passed away on Friday, September 8 at a Sioux City hospital.

Roy Edgar Streufert officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Gerald Rohrs, Charles Ebel, Frank Beckman, Frank Hedinger, Harry Tesch and William Byers. Mrs. James Meyer was soloist and Mrs. Clarence Hibbing was organist. Burial was in Prairie View cemetery with Gaudian Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Peter D. Moos was born February 21, 1897, at Granville. He was married to Susan Peters on January 10, 1930 at Paullina. He was foreman of the O'Brien County Maintenance Dept. until retiring in 1956.

Survivors include his widow, Susan, 3 sons, James, Ronald and Dennis, all of Paullina, 5 daughters, Joan, Mrs. Burdette Rohde, and Judy, Mrs. Fred Massmann, both of Paullina; Cynthia, Mrs. Russell Snyder of Newport News, Virginia; Diane, Mrs. Ronald Durst of Spring Grove, Minnesota; Barbara, Mrs. Richard Lambert of Sioux Falls, 12 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Henry of Granville and Nick of Waterloo, and one sister, Mrs. Felix Halverson of Thompson.
