Ella Mesner

Funeral services were held April 20, 1978, at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Chandler, Minnesota for Mrs. Ella Mesner. Pastor Robert Moritz officiated. Pallbearers were, Les Fiddelke, Loren Fiddelke, Dan Knorr, Duane Knorr, Tim Cagle and Tom Mesner. Interment was in the Chandler Memorial Cemetery.

Ella Mesner was born to Christ and Anna Tesch at Germantown, Iowa on October 27,1910. She was confirmed in the Christian faith at St. John's Lutheran, Germantown.

She was united in marriage to John Mesner at Germantown, on December 6, 1927. To this union three children were born. They engaged in farming at Paullina: until they moved to a farm near Chandler, Minnesota in February, 1947. She retired to Chandler in September, 1973.

She passed away at the home of her daughter after a lingering illness on April 17, 1978 at the age of 67 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty, Mrs. Leonard Fiddelke, Granville, and son, Ronald, of Chandler, a brother, Albert Tesch, sisters, Bertha, Mrs. Herman Breitbarth, Alma, Mrs. Albert Pauling, nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1971 and one son, Harlin, in 1951.
