Donald Haht, Recent PHS Graduate, Dies Very Suddenly

Donald Haht, age 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Tesch, Paullina, died May 12 at St. Joseph hospital in Sioux City after a brief illness. Death was attributed to a kidney ailment. Though he had, been comparatively well, he became seriously ill and was hospitalized on Wednesday, prior to his death Friday.

Funeral services were held here Sunday at 2:00 p.m at Gaudian Funeral Home and at 2.30 at St. John Lutheran church. The Rev Paul Sohn officiated at the services. Burial was in St. John cemetery, Germantown.

Pallbearers were schoolmates from Paullina high school, where the deceased was graduated with the class of 1958. They were: Robert Puhrmann, Larry Puhrmann, Curtis Stoever, Eugene Behrens, Marlin Richter and Tom Lange.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Melvin Tesch, his step-father, Melvin Tesch, two sisters, Glenda Haht and Denise Tesch and three brothers, Keith, Kevin and Terry Tesch.
