Mrs. Clara Hatterman; Cherokee Resident

Mrs. Clara Hatterman, 88, of 442 E. Cedar St died Wednesday in Riverview Manor, Cherokee, after a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of Cherokee since 1931.

Clara Kluender was born April 10,1892, in O'Brien County. On Dec. 10,1913, she married Henry J. Hatterman at Granville.

Mrs. Hatterman was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Cherokee.

Survivors include sons, Wayne and Eldon, both of Cherokee; a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Ruby) Rolles, Storm Lake; eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and sisters, Mrs. Ernest Stoeckman, Paullina; Mrs. Delia Schultze, Cole Camp, Mo., and Mrs. Albertina Fiddelke, Littleton, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on Nov. 20, 1968, and one brother.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cherokee. Pastor Lowell Koch will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Boothby Funeral Home. A family prayer service will be at 10:15
