She became ill at her home on Thursday evening and was taken to the Cherokee hospital by the Paullina ambulance. She passed away Friday morning [Jan 7], at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 20 days.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Irene, Mrs. Roy Holtgrew of Marcus and son Sylven of Cleghorn. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and one great great grandson, and one sister, Mrs. Freida Straub.

Gaudian Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Prairie View cemetery near Paullina.
