Louise C.E. (Mueller) Kluender (1887-1979)

Funeral services for Mrs.
Louise C.E. Kluender were
held Friday morning at the
Zion Lutheran Church of
Paullina. Rev. Donald L.
Johnson officiated at the
services.

Burial was in the St. John
Lutheran cemetery near Germantovvn
with arrangements
under the care of the Gaudian-
Eldridgc Funeral Home.

The daughter of Claus
Mueller and Margarete, nee
Hesse, was born on May 2,
1887. in Benton County,
Missouri She received her
education and was baptized in
the Lutheran faith in Missouri.
On Christmas day of 1907. she
was united in marriage to
Albert Kluender To this union
nine sons were born Albert
and Louise farmed and ran gas
stations at several places in
Iowa.

In 1940, Louise's life was
saddened by the loss of her
beloved husband, Albert. In
1950, she moved to Sioux City
where she resided until 1976.
It was in 1976 she entered the
nursing home in Paullina
where she passed away on
Tuesday. December 18, at the
age of 92 years 7 months 16
days.

She leaves to mourn her
passing her children Edwin
and Howard of Sioux City:
Clarence of Paullina. Marvin
and AI of Phoenix. Arizona.
Vernon of Fresno, California;
Merl of Santa Clara. California;
and Ray of Dcnison, Iowa.

She is also survived by 26
grandchildren. 38 greatchildren,
and 1 great greatgrandchild

She is also survived
by three brothers:
Henry, Martin, and Ernest of
Benton County, Missouri; two
sisters. Mrs Margaret Lumpe
of Lincoln, Missouri, and Mrs.
Ernest Brunjes of Cole Camp,
Missouri.

Her husband, one son
Elmer, one grandson, two
brothers and two sisters
preceded her in death.

The committal service was at the
St. John's Cemetery.
