Eldon Krambeck

Eldon Paul Krambeck, 69, of Galva, died Sunday, December 6, 1992, at Buena Vista County Hospital in Storm Lake after a short illness. Services were held Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Galva with the Rev. Robert D. Alexander officiating. Burial was in the Holstein Cemetery.

Mr. Krambeck was born June 19, 1923, on a farm north of Holstein, son of Paul and Emma (Pries) Krambeck.

On July 2, 1950, he married Mildred Tesch at St. John Lutheran Church in Germantown. The couple farmed in the Germantown area until 1957 when they moved two miles north of Holstein. They farmed until 1964 then moved to Galva. He owned and operated a welding shop in Galva and the last 3 years had seeded farm terraces.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, Milan and his wife., Joan Krambeck of Gallipolis, Ohio; Elden and his wife, Paula Krambeck of Galva; James Krambeck of Storm Lake; three daughters: Linda Peterson of Sutherland; Ellen and her husband, Jerry Petersen of Denison; and Susan and her husband, Steve Graham of Quimby; two sisters: Arlene and her husband, Robert Gray of Moville; Dorothy and her husband, Wayne Ruser of Ida Grove; two brothers-in-law: Melvin and wife, Dorothy Tesch of Paullina and Merlon and wife, Marilyn Tesch of Hartley; sister-in-law, Margaret Byers of La Puente, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
