Carolina Kruse Fegebank (1892-1932)

Mrs. Reinhardt Fegebank was born in Union township, O'Brien county, September 12, 1892, forty years ago. Her parents. Mr and Mrs. Louis Kruse, lived at that time on the farm now occupied by Dick Fiddelke and family. They were members of the Germantown Lutheran church, there the child was baptised and received the name Caroline. On Palm Sunday, April 8, 1906, she was confirmed ln the Germantown church by the Rev Oscar Horn.

At the age of twenty-two, February 11. 1914, Miss Caroline [sic] Kruse was married to Mr. Reinhardt Fegebank at Willow Lake, Minn. Seven children, all girls, survive the young mother, three boys died in early Infancy.

Having been ill for some weeks past she was taken to the Hand hospital in Hartley, where she died Monday, November 21. Her remains were brought here and interred at Prairie View cemetery on Wednesday, November 23.

The funeral was conducted from Zion Lutheran church by the pastor. Rev. J. Hartmelster, amidst a large congregation of mourners. The church quartet under the direction of Mr. E. B. Koester sang appropriate selections in German and English.
