Reinhard Fegebank Is Buried May 8

Reinhard Fegebank, 65, who died early Tuesday morning, May 5, was buried at Prairie View cemetery, here, Friday afternoon, May 8, following services held at the home and at Zion Lutheran church. The Rev. Mr. Martin Peters, officated. Pallbearers were: Herman Hibbing, Walter Niebuhr, Emil Haht, Henry Fiddelke, Earl Ebert and Harry Rohrs. Those in charge of the flowers were Mrs. Gerhart Knuth and Mrs. Clarence Meyer.

Reinhard Fegebank was born April 6, 1888 at Bremen, Germany, a son of Louis and Dorothea (Klausen) Fegebank. In 1902 he came to the Germantown community.

He was married to Caroline Kruse on Febr. 11, 1914 at Willow Lake, Minn. After farming northwest of Paullina until 1946, he retired and moved into town. He died at the age of 65 years and 29 days.

Surviving the deceased are six daughters. Three children preceded him in death. Six daughters survive him. They are. Etta (Mrs. Melborn Massmann), Ida (Mrs. Clarence Paulsen), Clara (Mrs. Erwin Niebuhr), Irene (Mrs. Reinhart Massmann), Helen (Mrs. Ralph Krueger), Bernice (Mrs. Ivan Bonderman) and Mabel, (Mrs Alfred Fritz). One brother, William, in Germany, and three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Steuihoff, St Paul, Mrs. Henrietta Roessler, Colorado Springs; Augusta, in Germany and Mrs. Clara Pauling, Bremerton, Wash., survive him. Five brothers preceded him in death.

Relatives from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Christian Kruse, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin C Kruse, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kruse, Mr. and Mrs. George Kruse and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kruse and! Elsie, John E. Kruse, Henry Guggisberg, Mr. and Mrs. Gerhard Brekke, Mrs. Herman Zim­merman, Mrs. Anna Giske, Mrs. Edwin Timm, all from and around Sanborn, Minn, Mrs. Bertha Steinhoff and sister of St. Paul, Minn; Mrs. Clara Pauling and sister of Bremerton, Wash; and Mrs. Letha Mericle of Sioux City.
