Mrs. Henry Westphal, 78, of Primghar passed away Sunday, February 15 at the Baum-Harmon hospital in Primghar after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran church in Paullina. Rev. Donald Johnson officiated at the services. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery at Primghar under the direction of the Gaudian Funeral Home.

Mrs. Henry Westphal, the former Clara Proehl, was bom February 22, 1897 in O'Brien County. She was married February 27, 1916 in Paullina. The Westphal's moved to Primghar in 1946. In 1953, Mr. Westphal passed away. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Beata, Mrs. Carl Silberstein of Primghar, and Rosa, Mrs. Leo Broocks of Paullina, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
