Albert Steffen, 79, Dies Saturday Night

Albert Steffen, 79, died Saturday night at 11:45 of a cerebral hemmorhage at the Ward Memorialhospital in Primghar. He suffered a stroke on "Wednesday and was then taken to the hospital by the Gaudian Ambulance Service.

Mr. and Mrs. Steffen had just moved into their new home on Mickley Street about four _ ago. They had lived east of town for about 25 years.

Funeral services were held at at Gaudian Funeral Home at 1:30 and at Zion Lutheran church at 2:00 with the Rev. _.H. Sohn officiating. Mrs. _ Meyer served as vocalist, accompanied by N. H. Behrens. Pall bearers were Donald, Del_, Gerald, Wesley and Loren and Henry Schoof. Interment was in Prairie View Cemetery.
