Mrs. Elizabeth (Bess) Vander Kamp, daughter of John and Thelma Kramer was born February 18, 1891 in the Netherlands. She came to live in the United States at the age of two and attended school at Orange City, Iowa.
She was united in marriage to Harm Vander Kamp at Sheldon, Iowa. Following their marriage they lived in Sheldon, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers. She passed away at the Sheldon Community Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 12, 1985 at the age of 94 years, 5 months and 24 days.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Tena Fisher of Sheldon, Iowa; Mrs. Janet Lewon of Omaha, Nebraska; and a number of nieces and nephews.
