Hi!

According to the 1889 History of Muscatine at William D. Lawrence's 2nd wife was Emily Eakins Gage.

She was the widow of Perry Gage. My guess is that Edward was their son.

I could not find any mention of Council Gage in the censuses. Perhaps his obituary will provide clues.

The marriage record of William to Emily wasn't easy to find. That is due to the fact that their names are spelled William Laurance to Emma Gage 21 Jan 1875.

William Lawrence is buried at Greenwood. He died 28 Jan 1907.
