John Dougherty/Jenny McGarry Dougherty background/descendant

John Dougherty and Jenny McGarry Dougherty were my grandparents on my mother's side. They settled in Eddyville, Iowa in the late 1800s/early 1900s and I am looking for any information about where they were originally from in Ireland (Shannon???), how and when John dougherty died and any and all information about them.
