I am loooking for information on gr.gr. grandfather Archibald Miller, Sr., b. abt. 1836 Stonehouse, Paisley, Scotland. Some information I was passed along was that he died Mar. 4, 1894 in Muscatine, IA. I have found Archibald Sr., and Archibald Jr., his son, listed in the Muscatine, IA Directory for 1891-3 showing as Arch'd Miller both living at r 1026 West.

I believe the variation on the first name is what's complicating my search, eg. Arch'd;Archabald;AC.

Here is the following family group that I know of.
Archibald & Jane (Whyte,White) MILLER
Children:
Gavin Patterson-Miller (adopted)
Mary Caldwell Miller b. abt. 1850 SCT arrived abt. 1869 before sending for the rest of the family. It's believed her parents and siblings arrived afterwards.
