Hi Lee,

This is a roll-up-your sleeves research project.

Looking at Federal and Iowa State censuses will help. Many area libraries have subscriptions to Ancestry.com and Heritage Quest that any one with a library card may access.

Do you know where any of these people are buried? Obituaries may also give much insight to the family.

If you would tell me more of what you know of these folks, then perhaps I could be better at directing you as to where to look next.

Another thought, could post your family name on Muscatine Co. IAGen Web Surname Directory, if you like.
