Luthern Church 1903/Pastor G. Meier

MURREL, SEIFERT, SMITH, JOHNSON

My grandmother was adopted and her baptismal record says 1903 in a Luthern church by the Pastor G. Meier. I am looking for which church that might be. Also her adopted parents were Mary Viola Smith and Oscar E. Johnson. Mary Viola's parents were Henry J and Margarth? (Sturns) Smith, also of Muscatine. Her real parent was Geneva Murrel (in different census, was spelled many different ways). We do not know who the father was. At this point, all I know is she was supposedly born in Muscatine Iowa, Sept 14, 1900/1901. The only proof of her being in Muscatine is that her mother lived here and her baptismal records were in Muscatine. Geneva Murrel's parents were Laura (Seifert) and Thomas Jefferson Murrel (of Henry, Marshall Co., Illinois). Laura Seifert grew up in Muscatine by the census records and her parents were Frederick and Amanda (Aspa) Seifert.
