This family was found in the 1900 Federal census living in Oskaloose City, Makaska Co., IA
on Sheet 6, enumerated 5 Jun 1900.
McCampbell Wm b. Mar 1856 IN parents b. KY occupation Trav Man
Jessie b. Aug 1860 b. IA father b. PA mother b.OH
Alfred b. Oct 1883 in IA
Margaret b. Oct 1890 in IA

In the 1910 Federal Census the family is living in Yellowstone Co. , MT. Wm is working as a salesman in lumber.

Sounds like this family had a colorful life.
