Thanks Dick. I already have the death info you mentioned. I think the Stena or Christina you talked about is actually the wife of another Friedrich Paustian. Those folks never left eastern Iowa, that I can find. But my Fred and Ida lived for at least 20 years in Marshall County, and then moved back east for only about the last 6 years of their lives. Children's names were Ida Pauline and Josephine.
