I'm sorry I don't have a photo for you but I was happy to see your post because I've often wondered if your Andrew was related in any way to James & Samuel who also settled in Muscatine in the 1830's. But James & Samuel's descendents are in Phillips Family DNA Project group 40 indicating they are not related to Andrew's family.

The DNA tests have been a big help because they also show that James (my line) & Samuel were probably cousins, not brothers. Which is disappointing because if they were brothers, I'd know where James' father was born (VA).

I wish more Phillipses would have the DNA testing done because I think in the end, that's the only way many of us are going to be able to break our brick walls.

Thanks for posting and I hope you're able to locate a photo.
