Bruce Charles Heezen

I'm an author working on a book that involves the geologist Bruce Charles Heezen, who worked on a map of the world ocean floor with oceanographic cartographer Marie Tharp. Bruce was the son of Esther Christine Schirding and Charles Christian Heezen and was born in Vinton, IA in 1924. He attended the University of Iowa, then went to Columbia University to get his doctorate. He died in 1977.
