I am hoping that someone can help me find the date that my Greatgrandmother, WILHELMINA MOTTSCHALL came to Muscatine from Germany. She was FREDERICK MOTTSCHALL'S sister. The County History says that FREDERICK came to the Co. in 1856. He sent for her and the family history says she came into New Orleans on a steamboat, then up to Muscatine. She married GOTTFRIED KNIPFER on 9 May 1861 at Muscatine.
I have tried looking at Passenger Lists with no luck.
Any help would be much appreciated!.
