Funeral services for Clyde "Dick" Mockmore, 42, Muscatine and formerly of Wilton and West Liberty, were held Aug. 17, 1987 at the Riley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Gannon officiating. Vada Timm was organist and pallbearers were Jeff Adams, Darrell Adams, Gary Baldwin and Denny Horton. Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Adams, Richard Fox and Clyde Hubble. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery.
Mr. Mockmore died Aug. 14 at University hospitals, Iowa City, following an extended illness.
The son of Clyde and Katherine Fox Mockmore, he was born Oct. 26, 1944 in Rock Island, Ill. He had resided in Muscatine for the past 2 years and had been employed at Louis Rich in West Liberty for more than 15 years. He was later employed at the Muscatine Sheltered Workshop.
Mr. Mockmore is survived by his stepfather, Albert Watson, Riverside; 2 brothers, Eugene Mockmore, Muscatine and Donald Mockmore, Wilton and a sister, Mrs. John (Leota) Clark, Brazil, Ia. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers in infancy.
