Wilhelm Werth Goes In Death; Rites Saturday
Wilhelm E. Werth, 77, retired farmer, died at 12:15 a.m. today at his home, 111 West Sixth street following a brief illness. The body was removed to the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home.

Services are planned at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Everett I. Hageman officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery.

The body will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Mr. Werth was born April 17, 1877, in Germany, the son of Wilhelm and Ernestena Semler Werth. he had been a resident here the past 61 years. Mis marriage to Lyria Weiss too place Sept. 3, 1914, at Atalissa. he was a member of Zion Lutheran church.

Survivors include his wife and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
