Will Wiese, 80, who had lived at 115 E. Sixth, died at 8 a.m. today at the Oakwood home.

A retired farmer, Mr. Wiese was a life resident of Muscatine county.

He was born November 24, 1885, the son of William and Melinda C. Lange Wiese in Muscatine county.

He was married Feb. 24, 1909, to Clara Marolf.

Mr. Wiese was a member of the First Methodist church. He was a 50-year Mason, member of Iowa Lodge No. 2.

Surviving are one son, L. Earl Wiese, Letts; one brother, Albert of Clearwater, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Freers of Muscatine, Mrs. Anna Bailey of West Liberty, and Mr. Frieda Rager of Long Beach; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, Carl; three brothers, and four sisters.

The body is now at the Ralph J. Wittich funeral home, where friends may call after 7 Saturday evening. [handwritten date: 5-20-66]

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with interment at Memorial park.
