Funeral services for Kary Sissel, 41, Wilton, will be held Aug. 2 at First Christian church in Muscatine, with burial in Greenwood cemetery. Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. A memorial has been established.

Mr. Sissel died July 30 at Muscatine General Hospital.

He was an Army Signal Corps veteran, serving from 1961 to 1964 in West Germany.

Mr. Sissel was a drafting engineer at Thatcher Plastic Packaging in Muscatine. He was a member of the church and an active ham radio operator.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Lori Sissel, Wilton and Lisa Sissel, Muscatine; his mother, Leona Sissel, Muscatine and 2 brothers, Tim, West Branch and D. Kent, Muscatine.
