Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home for Mrs. Werner Wittich, 88, life resident of Muscatine, who died at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at her home, 915-1/2 Mulberry avenue, following an extended illness. The Rev. C.R. Gesell, pastor of Grace Lutheran church, will have charge. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery.

Mrs. Wittich, the former Minnie C. Hocke, was born Feb. 4, 1868, in Muscatine county, the daughter of John and Mary Drell Hocke. she was married to Mr. Wittich March 17,1891, at Muscatine. She was a member of Grace Lutheran church.

Surviving are two sons, Harold H. Wittich, Montpelier, and Ralph J. Wittich, Muscatine and one brother, George Hocke, Wapello.

Preceding her in death were her husband, one son, one brother and one sister.
