Miss Weiss, 73 of Atalissa Is Taken by Death
Atalissa - - Funeral services for Miss Emma Weiss, 73, who died at her home north of town following a lingering illness were held at Zion Lutheran church at 2 p.m. today by the Rev. A. Schempp, pastor.

She was born in Illinois, Oct. 23, 1869, the daughter of George and Catherine Weiss. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Catherine Stemm of Iowa City, Mrs. Wilhelm Werth of Atalissa and the Misses Lucy and Clara and a brother, John, at home.

Burial was in this Weiss cemetery south of town.
