Funeral services for Arthur O'Haver, 81, West Liberty area farmer, were held at the Snider Funeral home, West Liberty, Feb. 23 with the Rev. Frank Greenwood officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery. Pallbearers were Jack Simon, Robert Cline, Tom Hammer, Donald Pelzer, Melvin Hepker and Lindsay Simpson. Mrs. Dorothy Mays was organist.

Mr. O'Haver died at his farm home Feb. 19 following a heart attack.

The son of Joel and Cara Belle Hatton O'Haver, he was born in Muscatine county Aug. 21, 1901. He was married to Olive Chudwick in Ottumwa June 24, 1924. He farmed in Muscatine county.

Mr. O'Haver is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Virginia) Parry, West Liberty; Mrs. Betty Jean Walsh, Minneapolis, Minn. and Mrs. Jo Anne Nissen, Cedar Rapids; a son, Arthur Jr., North Liberty; 2 brothers, Thomas, Ottumwa and Jerry, Boulder, Colo.; 4 sisters, Mrs. Goldia Merrill, Apple Valley, Calif.; Mrs. Sylvia Weideman, San Bernadino, Calif.; Mrs. Berniece Olsen, living in Oregon and Mrs. Olive Ruby, Newton; 2 step-brothers, Charles, Albuquerque, N.M. and Clyde, Minneapolis, MN; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, a brother, and a step-brother.
