Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Gregory, 89, a former Tipton resident, were held at the West Liberty Methodist church May 2 with the Revs. Frank Greenwood and Robert Dorothy Carey was organist and Thomas Jeneary, soloist. Pallbearers were Kenneth Collison, Gary and Robert Gregory, Gaylor Hadley, Douglas, Michael Stephen and Christopher Schultz, grandsons. Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery.

Mrs. Gregory died at the Lutheran home April 29 following a long illness.

The daughter of William H. and Sarah Cochran Ferguson, she was born in Belmont, Ohio Sept. 16, 1891. She was married to Stanford A. Gregory in St. Clairsville, Ohio Aug. 7, 1909. They moved to West Liberty, following their marriage.

She later lived in the Tipton and Fairfield areas. Mrs. Gregory was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist church and a gold star mother in the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include 2 sons, Albert, West Liberty and Robert, Tipton; 4 daughters, Mrs. Margarite Collison, Tipton; Mrs. T. M. (Mary) Hadley, West Branch; Mrs. Clarence (Edith) Walter, West Liberty and Mrs. George (Shirley) Schultz, Fairfield; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Stanley, killed in World War II, a grandson and a step-granddaughter.
