Funeral services for C. Wesley Norton, 56, Muscatine, a native of Wilton, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today (Feb. 19) at Wesley United Methodist church, Muscatine with burial in Oakdale cemetery at Wilton.

Mr. Norton died of a massive heart attack Feb. 14 while vacationing with his wife on the island of Antiqua, West Indies.

The son of Charles W. and Ruby Witmer Norton, he was born in Wilton Oct. 14, 1924. He was married to Maxine McCullough in Muscatine Sept. 7, 1957.

He was head of finance and administration for Stanley Consultants.

He was a member of Wesley United Methodist church, Wilton Lodge No. 167, AF&AM and the Davenport Consistory. He was a past exalted ruler of BPO Elks No. 304. He had been active with the Easter Seal Society of Iowa and had served as a board member.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Jed, Davenport; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Jill) Kennedy, Muscatine; 3 grandchildren, his father, Wilton; 2 brothers, William E., Lowden and Harold D., Durant and 4 sisters, Mrs. Ed (Lucille) Yedlick, Vinton; Mrs. Leslie (Florence) Bates, Davenport; Mrs. Carl (Alice) Mealy, Mason City and Mrs. Robert (Miriam) Baumann, Grinnell. He was preceded in death by his mother.
