Funeral services for Ernest Merle Lincoln, 68, Moscow, were held at Wilton May 21 with the Rev. Harold Jones officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton. Pallbearers were Verne, Robert and John Werling, Gene and Dean Denkman and Clarence Frenzel. Mrs. Emma Birkhofer was organist.

Mr. Lincoln died at his home May 18 following an extended illness.

The son of John and Lois Collins Lincoln, he was born at Rochester Oct. 13, 1910 and was married to Lorraine Hood Aug. 17, 1935.

Formerly a farmer, he had retired from Louis Rich, West Liberty and had worked part-time at Holiday Inn, Muscatine prior to his death.

Mr. Lincoln is survived by his wife; a son, James, Durant; a daughter, Mrs. Franklin (Virginia) Pallischeck, Moscow; 2 brothers, Howard, Eliza, Ill. and Lloyd, Iowa City; and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Icele) Roberts, Downing, Mo. He was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.
