Last rites for Mrs. Dale (Viola M.) Ovesen, 67, were held at Durant Oct. 16 with the Rev. Curtis Moermond officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Pallbearers were William Peel, Virgil Boisen, Dallas Carson, Lloyd Johannsen, Ronald Bierkemp and John Schneckloth.

Mrs. Ovesen died at Davenport Osteopathic hospital Oct. 13.

The daughter of Fritz and Lena Harder Wulf, she was born in Muscatine county Aug. 7, 1911. She was married to Dale Ovesen in Davenport March 6, 1943.

She is survived by her husband and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
