Mrs. C. Brugman Funeral Rites Set for Tuesday.

Funeral Rites for Mrs. Celesta Sini Brugman, 23, lifelong resident of Muscatine, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the George M. Wittich Funeral Home with the Rev. DeWitte S. Osgood of the Seventh Day Adventist church at Nevada, Ia., in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brugman died at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Woodrow Fletcher at 818 1/2 Main street, Davenport, at 12:50 a. m. Sunday after an 18 month illness with complications of ailments. She had been in Davenport for the past three weeks.

The daughter of Andrew and Edna Goddard Barko, she was born in Muscatine Jan. 2, 1917, and was married to Cecil Brugman here on Aug. 27, 1938. She was a graduate of Muscatine high school, attended Union college of College View, Neb., and was a member of the Seventh Adventist church of Muscatine.

Surviving are her husband, a son, Thomas Cecil Grugman, her parents, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Goddard of Muscatine, and the following brothers and sisters: Ernest, Andrew, John and Edward Barko, Mrs. Fred Graham, Miss Margaret Barko and Mrs. Charles Light, all of Muscatine, and Mrs. Sidney Green and Mrs. Edwin Adams, both of New York City.
