Funeral services for Henry H. Belter, 59, Muscatine, were held at the Lacock Funeral home, Durant, April 11 with the Rev. Harold Jones officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Pallbearers were Harry Bachus, Jerome and Henry Henke, Richard Petersen, Ray Hetzler, Elmer Makoban, Robert Puck and Ralph Schnoor.

Mr. Belter died at his home near Muscatine April 8.

The son of Henry and Katie Voss Belter, he was born near Durant Nov. 27, 1919. He never married.

A farmer, he was a member of the Muscatine Eagles lodge. He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a brother, Lawrence, Bennett and 4 nieces.
