Funeral services for Clarence Jarr, 76, were held at the Griffith Funeral home, Wilton, April 29, with the Rev. Garth Baker officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery, Muscatine.

Mr. Jarr died at a Wilton nursing home April 26.

The son of Adolph and Agnus Moeller Jarr, he was born at Wilton, Feb. 14, 1899 and was a resident of Wilton until moving to Muscatine 15 years ago.

He was married to Ruth Wilhelm at Wilton, March 12, 1919. A retired farmer and woodworker, he was a member of the Zion Lutheran church.

He is survived by 3 sons, Harlan, Floris; LaVern, Pulaski and Donald, Muscatine; 6 daughters, Mrs. Gene (Odetta) Freeborn, Floris; Mrs. Ernest (Leona) Fowler, Wilton; Mrs. Ernest (Lorainne) Skipton, Wilton; Mrs. Juanita Tompkins, Muscatine; Mrs. Vernon (Ramona) Welk, West Liberty and Roberta, Muscatine; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Ella) Hansen, Wilton; 32 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren,
