Funeral services for Wilfred E. Oostendorp, 81, Atalissa, were held in West Liberty Oct. 2 with burial in Muscatine. Mr. Oostendorp died at a Muscatine hospital Sept. 29.

Mr. Oostendorp was born at Lyons, Kan. July 19, 1890, the son of Bernard and Consena Fortier Oostendorp. He married Lola Acker in 1945. He farmed in the Atalissa area.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Garvin, Atalissa and Mrs. Marie Huston, Wapello; 2 sons, Wilfred Jr., Safety Harbor, Fla. and LeMoyne, Clearwater, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Victoria White; a brother, Vernon, Muscatine; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
