Last rites for Louie J. Ingram, 97, father of Mrs. Ruth Sissel of Tipton, were held at West Liberty March 29 with burial in Oak Ridge cemetery at West Liberty.

Mr. Inghram died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport March 26 following an extended illness.

He was born Dec. 7, 1873 the son of William and Emma Wiker Inghram, in West Liberty. He moved to Davenport 10 years ago.

He was married to Edith M. Romaine in 1904. He was superintendent of the Light and Water Co. in West Liberty for 43 years.

Survivors include his wife, Edith, Davenport; a son, Ivan, West Liberty; 3 daughters, Gladys Inghram and Mrs. Beulah Schuessler, Davenport and Mrs. Sissel, Tipton, and several grandchildren.
