10 December 1970 - The Tipton Conservative

Requiem mass for Andrew J. Enderle, 50, was held at St. Joseph's church, West Liberty, Dec. 3 with burial at Mount Calvary cemetery. Mr. Enderly died after a heart attack suffered at 10 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Coffeetown restaurant north of West Liberty. The Rescue Unit of the West Liberty Fire department was called and efforts were made to revive him. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy hospital in Iowa City where he was dead on arrival.

Mr. Enderle was born Feb. 24, 1920, in West Liberty, son of Andrew and Clara Taylor Enderle. He married Helen Robinson on Nov. 14, 1942, at Kahoka, Mo. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church and was a trustee. He had been employed for over 20 years at the West Liberty post office.

Survivors include his wife, 2 sons, David, with the army at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and Steve, also with the army at Ft. Rucker, Ala.; 3 daughters, Mrs. Anita Slade and Mrs. Karen Marple, both of Coralville and Teresa, at home; a brother, Lawrence of Davenport; 3 sisters, Ellen Enderle and Catherine Enderle, both of Davenport and Mrs. Bertha Milder of Olin, and 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
